480 Cobb 500 broilers

- Vaccinated: Newcastle disease, Infectious bursal disease (IBD)
- Clear of medicine withdrawal on the ready date
Every batch on ChickTick comes from a farmer who records feed, weights and vaccinations in the ChickTick app. See what you are buying before you drive out, send an offer, and pay the farmer on collection.
Weights come from the farmer’s own weighings, carried forward to the ready date along the breed curve.
Each listing shows the vaccinations the farmer recorded for the batch.
A flock still inside a medicine withdrawal period cannot be listed for that date.
Buyers and farmers rate each other after collection, so a good record follows you.
Listings come down a week after the ready date or when the birds are sold. No stale adverts.
Farmers’ numbers are for registered buyers; yours reaches a farmer only when they accept your offer.
New batches are listed as flocks come ready. Register so you can send offers quickly.
The asking-price guide appears once at least 3 farms have listed batches with a price.
You pay the farmer directly on collection, the way you agree with them. ChickTick never holds or handles money.
Most farmers show their name and number only to registered buyers, to keep their numbers away from spam. Register (it takes a minute) and log in to see them, or send an offer: when the farmer accepts, you both get each other’s number.
From the farmer’s own weighing, recorded in the app, and carried forward to the ready date along the breed’s growth curve. “At least” means the batch will be older than the breed table, so it will weigh more than shown. Check the birds when you collect.
If a flock was treated with a medicine that has a withdrawal period, the app will not let the farmer list it for a date before the birds are safe to sell for slaughter.
Report a problem on the deal in your buyer page. ChickTick looks at every report, and ratings from completed deals show every farmer’s and buyer’s record.
Use “Fill a big order”: say how many birds you need, where and when, and ChickTick groups the farms near you whose birds are ready in time, nearest first.
A listing comes down a week after its ready date (at most 30 days after it was published), or as soon as the farmer sells the birds or withdraws it. No year-old adverts.
Register as a buyer, then send offers to farms near you.
